Robust Part Design: IDES - The Plastics Web®
You can't count on a robust design to save the plastic part anymore. The molecular weight must be preserved to be properly molded.
Glossary
Average... - The molecular weight of polymeric materials determined by the viscosity of the polymer in solution at a specific temperature. This gives an average molecular weight of the molecular chains in the polymer independent of specific chain length. Falls between weight average and number average molecular weight.
